Search

Ask questions in plain English and get a read-only answer over your data.

The Search screen (/admin/queries) lets you ask a question in plain English, for example "Which targets have a Companies House number?", and get an answer computed as a read-only query over your data.

How it works

  1. Pick an index (customers, audit history, or LLM telemetry).
  2. Type your question.
  3. Click Ask.

The system generates a read-only query, runs it, and shows the results in a table, along with:

  • The generated query (shown as JSON).
  • The model used and its tokens, cost, and latency.
  • The search latency.
Queries are read-only and run against one index at a time. Nothing is written or mutated.

Reading the results

  • Summary: a one-line description of what was found.
  • Model / tokens / cost / latency: how much the answer cost to produce.
  • Table: the actual rows returned.
Search is great for quick questions about your targets and for inspecting the audit trail and LLM usage.
